Copyright & DMCA Policy

Our Approach

WUMP.io respects the intellectual property rights of creators and third parties. We take copyright concerns seriously and aim to act on all valid reports within 24 hours.

Because WUMP.io is primarily a tools platform — and most content is hosted externally by creators on services like Dropbox or Google Drive — our role is to remove or disable access to links and landing pages on our Platform that are reported as infringing. Where files have been uploaded directly to WUMP.io, we will also remove the hosted file.

Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that content accessible through WUMP.io infringes your copyright, please email us at:

[email protected]

Include the following in your report:

  1. The WUMP.io link(s) you want taken down — the URL(s) of the page(s) on WUMP.io that contain or link to the allegedly infringing material.
  2. What’s being infringed — identify the original copyrighted work (a title, link to the original, or any information that helps us understand what you own).
  3. Your contact information — your name, email address, and (if applicable) the organization you represent.

If we determine the claim is valid, we will disable or remove the reported content and notify the creator who posted it.

What Happens to the Creator

When we act on a copyright report, we notify the affected creator and provide them with information about the claim. Repeated or serious violations may result in account suspension or termination.

Counter-Notices (If Your Content Was Removed)

If you’re a creator and you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you can submit a counter-notice by emailing [email protected] with the following:

  1. Your name and contact information (name, address, phone number, email).
  2. The content that was removed — identify the material and the WUMP.io URL where it appeared before removal.
  3. Why you believe it was removed in error — a brief explanation of why the removal was a mistake or misidentification.

Repeat Infringers

WUMP.io maintains a policy of terminating the accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion.

Misuse of This Process

Filing a false or misleading copyright report is a serious matter. Under Section 512(f) of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing may be held liable for damages. Please only submit reports for content you genuinely own or are authorized to protect.
